Apply US screening guidance to the right question
TSA’s protein or energy powder page allows these powders in carry-on and checked bags. It states that powder-like substances greater than 12 oz. / 350 mL must be placed in a separate bin for X-ray screening and may require additional screening or opening. The final decision rests with the TSA officer.
The featured container’s stated 50 mL capacity is not a screening exemption. Recheck the official guidance for the travel date; airline and destination rules require their own checks.
Pack for access and arrival
Measure the planned amount before checking whether it fits. Keep the contents dry according to the powder’s own storage directions. Choose a bag position that lets you retrieve the container when needed and provides protection appropriate to the route. The carrying clip does not establish a load rating, and the container is not verified for liquids, medicine or infant formula.
